July 13th at Glendale SDA Church, 2900 East 62nd Street, Indianapolis at 7:30 p.m.

The event features a variety of vocalists and artists using their talents to advocate for children heading households, as well as girls and women who are victims of gender based abuse. Participants include musicians from Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music, a local choir, woodwind, violin, and keyboard instrumentalists among others.

The event is hosted by Saving Orphans through Healthcare and Outreach (SOHO), works to improve the lives of child-headed households in southern African communities deeply affected by HIV/AIDS. SOHO works with churches, academic institutions and businesses to address the needs of this at risk population.

There will also be a book signing of the just released coffee table book The Hope Seekers-Survival of Southern African Child Led Households in the Shadows of HIV/AIDS.
