Sidvokodvo, Eswatini – Melissa Mosley, aged 16, has extended her heartfelt appreciation to the people of Sidvokodvo for their warm embrace and for introducing her to the rich culture of Eswatini. Glen Mosley, a renowned multi-platinum producer, keyboard artist, and President of Mouseclique Productions, joined his daughter Melissa in the endeavor to support the community outreach efforts of Seeds of Hope Outreach. Their visit, which took place on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, involved interactions with the children of Marekamp and Nhlambeni, underscoring their commitment to humanitarian causes.

Melissa Mosley also took the opportunity to share her musical expertise by providing music coaching for children in Manzini at the SDA City Church on Friday, April 26th. A highlight of their visit was a free concert held at SDA City Church on Saturday, April 27th, at 6:30 PM, where Melissa graced the stage alongside other talented artists. The event served as a platform to support the noble endeavors of Seeds of Hope Outreach, a faith-based NGO dedicated to serving orphans and vulnerable children through various empowering programs.

Reflecting on her journey to Eswatini, Melissa Mosley expressed her motivation for delving into the intricacies of Eswatini culture. “In America, Africa is often depicted as a desert, a place inhabited solely by giraffes, but what we experienced here is far richer and more diverse than those stereotypes,” Mosley commented.

Seeds of Hope Outreach operates vital initiatives within the community, including a feeding program at Marekamp in Sidvokodvo, where up to 150 children receive nourishing meals daily. Additionally, the Hope Discovery Learning Center (HDLC) in Nhlambeni serves as a beacon of educational opportunity for preschool children from Marekamp and its environs, ensuring they receive a solid foundation for their future education.

The visit of Melissa and Glen Mosley underscores the collaborative efforts aimed at supporting the humanitarian mission of Seeds of Hope Outreach, reaffirming the importance of community engagement and cultural exchange in fostering mutual understanding and empowerment.
