A Strategist on HIV/AIDS and Gender Disparities, international lecturer and daughter of two heads of countries, Josina lived a life of privilege and of service. It all changed, the day when what she considers the unthinkable happened.
She became a victim of gender-based violence at the hands of the high ranking man who was her fiancé. Resisting the pressures to keep her abuse private and settle the matter privately, she formed KUHLUKA, a global Movement with a mission to advocate for victims of GBV and to empower women and girls. Founded on the principles of Advocacy and Mitigation, Khuluka intends to give women survivors a voice as well as a safe haven in times of need. Priscilla ‘CeCe’ Winans Love is undisputedly one of the best known gospel singers in the world, with 10 Grammys, an arm load of gold records, as well as multiple Stellar and Dove Awards to prove it.
