JosinaA Strategist on HIV/AIDS and Gender Disparities, international lecturer and daughter of two heads of countries, Josina lived a life of privilege and of service. It all changed, the day when what she considers the unthinkable happened.

She became a victim of gender-based violence at the hands of the high ranking man who was her fiancé. Resisting the pressures to keep her abuse private and settle the matter privately, she formed KUHLUKA, a global Movement with a mission to advocate for victims of GBV and to empower women and girls. Founded on the principles of Advocacy and Mitigation, Khuluka intends to give women survivors a voice as well as a safe haven in times of need.
