The HOPE RISING Gala features internationally known guests who are impressive role models of courage, compassion and humanitarian concern. Each year these guests are honored, and funds are raised for programs addressing SOHO’s mission to heal, educate, nurture and empower orphans and vulnerable children.
This year, proceeds will go toward Strong As Steel Yebo!, (SASY!) a HIV/AIDS and Abuse Prevention Program using music as a medium to save lives. The program will be introduced amongst Indianapolis Peer Leaders this Fall, as well as in Swaziland. SOHO’s abuse prevention program will engage youth in Indiana as well as in Swaziland.
